If I could spray paint over I'd follow someone else' advice and wash the rubbery frame with soap and water, lightly sand it with some 400 or 600 sand paper, then wash it again and do a light coat of flat primer, let it dry for like 48 hours, then do the flat green paint recommended in the above article and I think it would stick way better. It may still peel with sanding, washing, and the primer, but spraying the rubbery material with just the flat green camo . . it very easily peels away with any hard edge or fingernail touching it. I went with a real weathered version so the peeling fits, but it's a frustration for sure.
Everybody can relax, I found the car! Needs some suspension work, annnd shocks. . Brakes, brake pads, lining, steering box, transmission, rear-end. .
. . Also, . . new rings. . mufflers, a little wiring. .
