We went to Funspot (the world's largest arcade) in Laconia NH today and not only do they have the original Real Ghostbusters arcade game, but they also have this new arcade blaster game - the developers did an amazing job, the graphics are fantastic, the action is fun, it's fairly easy, there are multiple levels, even the trap decoration on top of the machine looks really cool - it's a fun game, AND it distributes tickets, 100 if you beat Stay Puft in the bonus level. we were there for about 6 hours and over 30 minutes of that was spent on this game. such a great game. here is a video I found, but in the one we played, Stay Puft doesnt glow red, there are actually targets that appear on him that you have to shoot before he gets you (3 hits and youre dead) with marshmallow.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHo6QIMnKQg the levels change everytime, so you could play the street level and the courtroom level then stay puft in one sitting, then the game ends even if you defeated stay puft (if you beat him you get 100 extra tickets in addition to 1 ticket for each ghost you busted) and you could play again and get 2 different levels, like the hotel etc - every time you play, you get 2 random levels, and then the stay puft bonus stage - the one thing that 'confuses' me is the point of the shooting ping pong balls when you have are making contact with a ghost (instead of the beam just shooting the background), seems pointless? other then that, fun game.
