Hi all,
this is my project (long term project): transform an Amt Ecto 1a kit into an Ecto 1.

I'm here to see your projects, "steal" some of your ideas from your topic, and share some of mine through some pics

Here what i have done till now.

Now that is looking pretty awesome. AMT famously left the radome out of the ECTO-1A kit (though it is in the Polar Lights ECTO-1) and that and the other custom parts you've made are looking great!

I'm spending a lot of time on this project, also because it's the first model that i build.

In this case the radome is done with the button of a pen.

I'm even more impressed. Let's just say the first model I ever built wasn't anywhere near as good. In fact, it was very very very bad.

I think the rack took me about 100 hours of work.

I redo it 2 or 3 times, repainted 2 times...we can say it is the third rack that i did

Comin along nicely, this will be a fun watch.

i'm doing some test with decal...

problem: the decal doesn't stick to the surface...why? some tips?
