Any one see the video from Video Bob on youtube? I couldn't watch it but the title seems to suggest he had meetings with Jason Reitman and some sort of involvment in the film.

Honestly, who cares what Video Blob has to say. He was more than likely talkin out his ass
In addition to be excited about a third film in the original Ghostbusters continuity FINALLY about to hit the theaters, I think I'm also excited about it being indicative of closing this pandemic chapter of our lives.
There will now be Before Afterlife, and After Afterlife.
I know we've previously cracked jokes about the Ecto-1 being shown so prominently in advance of the film, but I am legit thrilled to know we'll be seeing it do things we've never seen on film before.

I take personal issue with that clown giving us Bobs a bad name.
Very cool, but definitely more spoilery than the other trailers.
I can't make out much at the beginning because the quality is so poor. I can't tell if that is the Ecto-1 crashing or some other vehicle, but if that is how Egon meets his demise, then I'm kind of bummed out. I don't know what I was expecting, exactly, but I wanted Egon's death to at least mean something. A car accident feels hollow.
I agree that there are some kind of automated proton packs there. I like the theory that the earthquakes are the result of these automated packs crossing the streams every now and then to close the gate. Maybe the silos in Egon's yard harness lightening to keep these automated packs running?
If the theory about the automated packs is correct, then the question is, what causes the earth to open up and for ghosts to spew from the mountain? Releasing the terror dog from the trap likely factors into it somehow.
EDIT: Having watched it again. There's a short scene where someone is walking up to the house and we hear the familiar "beep beep" sound from a full ghost trap. I'm guessing that is Egon after he catches one of the terror dogs. Maybe the silos are used to power the trap so that the terror dog doesn't get loose.

Dude very much seems like the type of guy that would get photographed with a celebrity and then spin an elaborate and unsupported story about the encounter.
Half price?! Have we all gone mad?! - Peter Venkman, Ghostbusters II In a sense, I AM YOUR LANDLORD! - Neil Casey, Limbos Stop callin! Stop callin! I don't wanna talk anymore! I got my head and my heart on the dance floor! - Lady Gaga, Telephone
she's definitely got the look... Couple it with the right makeup, and we've got our new Gozer.
Wonder if Ivan supplied the voice again?

Ghost Corps have been showcasing a recap video from the screening, and it sounds like the musical piece from the trailer is featured in it, towards the 0:19 mark:

The crash might be a misdirect, or at least I hope it'll make more sense when we can actually watch it in decent quality. Either way, it's appearing more and more that I was WAY off in how much they're making Egon an active participant in this story. I thought for sure they'd go the subtle route and have some vague thing about him falling ill or something. And with all the reports about the budget being very modest, I thought that would rule out any kind of CGI depiction of him. I feel very apprehensive about the possibility that he was instead killed or went missing - although, if anything that would explain why he never contacted his family before it was too late. But that now leaves a bigger question which is, how did he lose contact with the guys, why wouldn't the usually eager Ray follow him to Summerville to help, etc..

All that said, I love how the occasional new detail usually just presents more questions. Ahh this movie!
Nice to see the posters shifted from the field to Summerville proper. But got me thinking, wonder if we'll see any staged in the Farmhouse or at the temple.
EDIT: Just to put up the other videos posted today. Will update later with Finn's appearance on Tonight Show.
The 28 min. NYCC panel
The Today Show clip
On Tonight Show, starts at 4 min. Shows a clip, starts a little into the Today one but shows bit more new footage.
It's finally started. The overload of media coverage is here.
Regarding the trailer
if the scenes are in chronological order, this is what happens: the man is running away from something, has a car crash. He survives it, reach the house, put the trap in the secret puzzle then activates some kind of defense around the house. It may be Egon, but when he runs towards the house we see a well builded figure.... Maybe Ray?

I think they're modeling Egon off of Harold Ramis's later years where he put on some bulk, so I'm positive this IS Egon. It would coincide with a spoiler posted earlier here that the intro of the movie is a car chase that ends at the farmhouse and "the Ghostbuster loses"
I figure id chime in here because while i love the marketing campaign has fully kicked off (sooner then i expected none the less given how we are still penciled in for a Nov 19th release date)...I've decided to stop doing my youtube channel and turn off comments cause i get so many trolls and haters intentionally trying to ruin the movie for me with spoilers.
So that said... i do have some SPOILER esq questions id like to know from anyone who's actually seen the film. Only one is what i consitered major (as i have no clue one way or another if its true or not, and if so i should mentally prepair)
Ok.. Here we go.
1: In the leaked 3rd trailer...we see someone who i am assuming is Egon....Do we ever get to see Egon's actual face re-created via CGI or is it well hidden?
2: Do we get a classic Opening with the themesong and the logo?
3:Is slimer shown in any way shape or form?
4: THIS ONE IS MAJOR.......
Does Peter die? If so i dont want to know how, i just want to be prepared if true...because damn...im still not really over the loss of Egon (and Harold Ramis)....but again this could be just some random stuff a troll said to me to piss me off...

Everything else i dont want to know...i know far to much as it is...Its just hard sitting here counting down the days waiting for this and knowing people are intentionally trying to ruin shit for us! I just wana see the movie and get it over with...

I'll end this question right now. It is absolutely 100% Egon.

We know Oliver Cooper is standing in for Ramis, how well done is the deep fake when we see his face?
