I had scoured the forums looking for a solid case that would fit a pack and wand and just wanted to share a case that I found that actually fit (barely) a complete pack and wand, with small areas of space to pack a charger and maybe some wrenches.

It is the Pelican iM3075 Storm Trak Case with Foam

It comes with this perforated pick and pluck foam that is actually quite easy to handle and customize

Would it fit with the LC1 Alice frame & pads on the proton pack as well?

Yep, mine fits great with an Alice frame etc on it. I've had to cut some sections out of the lid foam for the bellows and ion arm is all.

Yep Alice frame was on my pack in the photos, just cut more foam deeper where the pads are to create a level pack

Great find. Slap some warning stickers on that bad boy!
