Does anyone know how much current the vent light output can handle on the GBFans light kit? A forum search did not yield any answers and the product documentation did not appear to specify this either. While I am sure that the included light is adequate, I see other builders using fairly beefy LEDs in this area and was not sure if the GBFans board could handle something like this by itself or if a transistor or relay needed to be installed in between.

So i am in the same boat.

not sure whats wrong, but the little LED that comes with the Ghostlabs42 vent relay board is not bright enough, and i want to add a T10 LED. problem is the T10 LED needs 12v, and the vent relay voltage is dropped down to 3.5v from a buck converter because the Ecig/fan and pump can only take about that. 12v would fry the ecig.
what i am finding, there is no way to have a 12v LED get trigger by the vent relay and maintain the lower voltage for the pump/Ecig.
