Hi all,

I know the original boots were Carolina paratrooper boots. Does anyone have photos of the that specific model available? Or has a pair of those models that could provide detailed photos of them?

I've contacted a shoe maker who does replica boots, Crowprops. He makes dozens of Star Wars replica boots and he's interested in making the Ghostbuster boots, turns out he's also a member of Ghostbusters Ecuador group and would like to make replica boots for sale on his website.

His website is here: https://crowprops.bigcartel.com if you want to see his work.

He's asked for reference photos in the highest resolution possible. I have the images from the Egon Spengler's (Harold Ramis) Boots that were auctioned off at the Prop Store.

But if anyone else has additional photos showing more details it would be helpful so we can get replica boots into production.

CrowProps makes some comfy boots. I'm not sure they're really needed for this, though, since the current version of the boots (Corcoran 995) is still not hard to find and pretty darned close... not to mention *really* well made and sturdy. Gio's boots are nicely made, too, but I wouldn't put them in the same category as real military boots like these.
