I created the top cap for the meter from random stuff I had in my workshop. The red cap is from a big harbor freight tube of assorted zip ties that just happened to fit perfectly over the 4" drain pipe. I cut a geometric shape similar to the one on the face of the real gigameter from sheet PVC, and the box for the display was made from the battery box that I had previously cut out of the bottom of the dome security camera. I didn't plan that, but it worked out nicely!



I painted the cap black and attached it to the drain pipe with screws. All I have left to do are some minor adjustments and the addition of some weathering affects!

Did a bit of 'weathering' on this thing, and I think it is done for now!
