Which artist is the Banshee's song in the style of? Belinda Carlisle?

About a decade ago, Paul Rudoff over at Spook Central discovered the the backing music to Shanna's song "Love Makes Me Live", as well as some of the lyrics were adapted from the song "Love on the Streets" by Noam Kaniel, which surfaced from one of the early She-Ra animations: LINK

Sadly Kaniel's song has never been released in full, nor the audio from the episode beyond what's available from the episode itself.

It's possible Jodi Carlisle's performance was styled after Belinda Carlise's... I'd also suggest Bonnie Tyler as a strong influence.
