Howdy folks!
Still a newbie to the forums and the site here, though, an old-school fan from way back in the '84 days.
The long-suffering Mrs. and I have put together uniforms to go with our packs and our Ectomobile. However, as with our Ectomobile NOT being a replica of the Ecto-1, but rather an answer to the question, "What would a four-wheel drive, modern, Ectomobile suited to the Rocky Mountains look like?" I've decided to take a different tack with my uniform as well. My wife is going with the grey/blue GB2-esque uniform. I've decided to go with a two-piece uniform rather than a flight suit. And while it will have all the right recognizable pieces and parts and VERY much be a GB franchise kit, it will not be screen-accurate nor a reproduction. My proton pack also has embellishments and personalized touches to it.
I guess my question is, will this be a problem? I've participated in other groups and 'fandoms' in the past, and some have pretty strong feelings and even published rules and guidelines as to the authenticity and uniformity of costumes, props, etc. Mostly I just still want to be able to have fun with my fellow ghostheads and not be the source of 'problems'.
Thoughts?

"Sir, what you had there is what we refer to as a focused, non-terminal, repeating phantasm or a class-five full-roaming vapor. A real nasty one, too."
