Looks like a 1960s, or possibly 1970s model.

'62 Cadillac was posted on Kijiji in Saskatchewan about 6 days ago. It's... I mean I'm not a car guy so to me it looks like a lost cause but I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Oh hey, that doesn't look half bad, let's look insi-

... oh. Ohhhhhhhh.

But hey, what do you expect for $1000 Canadian (and comes with a second car?)

Also a bit off of the beaten path here but there's a '64 Pontiac Bonneville Ambulance (mislisted as a Cadillac) for sale out of Quebec.
https://www.kijiji.ca/v-voiture-collect ... 1561408740

I don't know how accurate the pictures on the listing are, it's listed as being orange but the main picture shows a completely white one, but the rest show a red & white vehicle - mostly older photos. So not the RIGHT car, but it could make for a very, very nice lookin' ride.

I saw that on my NYC trip a couple years ago. I couldn't remember where it was, and that part of the trip was a dead zone for my phone. So glad I wasn't the only one who noticed it.

It doesn't look like it's a MM though, unless it's from a different year. The rear end looks different. Not that I'm arguing, others have done spectacular conversions anyway.

A 1960 MM futura 3 way in superb condition up for grabs in Belgium for offers in the region of £99,000 GBP.

Even if you could swallow the purchase price, could you even consider chopping this up to convert it to a 1959? I'm not sure I could.

I don’t believe this has been posted before, but there seems to be a couple listings for ‘59 Miller Meteor rat rod in Oregon:
http://davidsclassiccars.com/cadillac/4 ... sters.html
https://www.bestcarfinder.com/sale-by-o ... 64043.html
The roof’s been lowered about 10cm, and there’s been lots done to it, but it runs, it drives, and it appears to be the correct model.

And professional car people give Ghostbusters fans stick for turning Cadillacs into Ecto-1 replicas. :whatever:

That "Rat rod" is far worse.

Looks like that 59MM rat rod was actually posted in here a while ago. Those websites you linked seems to just archive cars for sale for some reason. Its long gone.

This is likely a scam. In fact that whole website might be full of them.

Right company, wrong year - 57 Cadillac Eureka available for $6K in Ontario, Canada. But, for 6k... would make for a nice off-brand Ecto.

1960 Eureka

A few recent finds on Kijiji for fellow Canadians - none of them are a '59, but they've all got some nice looks. ('cause let's face it, the odds of finding "the one" are pretty slim)
'57 Miller Meteor Hearse - $9k, Saskatchewan - right model, wrong year, but a very pretty car that has the right rear door and glass and just looks like it would make a good one. I like the little zig-zag in the side detailing, it's neat.
'78 Chevy Suburban Ambulance - Manual transmission, 96k km, $1800, British Columbia - Has some really nice ambulance features built-in, 4 doors, could see this being a great project car for a franchise that's in a more rural / rugged area.
'80 Chevy Ambulance - automatic transmission, 68k km, $2500, British Columbia. It's got a nice look, the single sliding side door is a bit like the single side door on the Meteor, lots of lights still attached, and comes with a gurney.

Truly an abomination. It's perfect. 59 Coupe De Ville with a custom low roof. Have there been any 59 coupe Ectos? Obviously its not an ambulance, but it has the iconic front clip and the fins. Plus, there's no guilt drilling holes in this thing. I'll see if I can figure out how to upload photos because not everybody has facebook.

these are back on ebay.

Good for someone with deep pockets; but you could conceivably make one perfect clone, and then botch together the leftover bits as another basket case for someone else to try to convert.

Even in this condition, these cars are worth saving. When they're gone, they're gone.

Looks like the 61 has a new windshield. But other than that good lord those are some real fixer-uppers. There’s more rust than car left. Would almost be better off starting with a frame and building a car from scratch
