Tested.com uploaded 117 photos of the Phoebe pack. I downloaded the high res versions of the images and have them uploaded onto my photobucket. I don't feel like posting all 117 here, so please follow the link provided:

https://app.photobucket.com/u/mburkit/a ... c3d33badb8

After I get a chance to look at them more, maybe a larger discussion can be had then and I'll post specific photos here as part of that discussion.

Had a search around and pretty sure they are these ones by a company called Aglint:

Yes, after researching, I too think they used this kind of car led bulbs. I found it on Amazon.it from a company called Lumenex:

https://www.amazon.it/dp/B0899X2PQH/ref ... UTF8&psc=1

It seems they wrapped the lamp with some thick milky white heat shrink tubing in order to increase the diameter and lock it into the barrel, as these bulbs measure 15 mm while the internal diameter of the barrel should measure 16 mm.

Yeah, I ordered what I think are the correct bulbs yesterday on Amazon. They should show up tomorrow. I wanted to confirm that they were right before posting about them. We'll see!

Yeah, I did download the full res versions directly from WordPress. Photobucket does compress the images. They used to have the ability to open them uncompressed, but I guess that's not a thing anymore. That sucks. Thank you for pointing that out and supplying the direct links to the images from WordPress.

It appears to be a tactile switch, like one of these:

CS1101 Series Tactile Switch

I suspect this is the "true" firing button on the thrower, which was put there to make it easier for McKenna to fire the Proton Gun.

Do you mean that due to her small hands she would not be able to reach the Intensify button with her thumb? It makes sense.

I also suspect from Savage's pics that the gun track is resin, not metal.

Yep, she's 15 (14 when they filmed I guess?), and she's only 4'11", so guessing she'll have teeny tiny hands and struggle to reach the normal fire button!

I think we found the correct lamp.

Just a quick mock up, the heat shrink tubing should be milky white instead of clear and a little thicker, they have cut the contact plug to half the length, but I think we got a perfect match!

The lamp is very bright, powered by a 12v 10,000 mAh mini UPS backup battery, you won't look at it directly.

Alright I've had some time to sift through those new Adam Savage reference photos! Wow a lot to process.

A few things I've noticed that are interesting to me....

The undercut area between the booster tube and Ion arm is completely filled in and appears to be a part of the new Ion arm weld. Similar to how the GB2 Semi Heros were. It's unclear to me if it's built into the shell, ion arm, or a completely separate solid piece that is sandwiched in there.

Image

The male pack side side of the V-hook has some sort of interesting messy welding going on on the bottom edge of it. Could possibly be how it was built or maybe a repair.

The clippard disc wiring: The new reference photos confirm there are 2 holes drilled into the shell above and below the clippard disc plate. Some of the clippard disc wires go into these holes into the shell (2 on the bottom hole, 3 on the top hole)

Image

Also noted, the two ring terminals on the booster tube appear to have 2 copper wires jammed into each ring terminal as opposed to 1.

It looks to me like the piece between the ion arm and booster tube doesn't have a visible seam where they meet. If they are both aluminium I assume the booster tube and ion arm are maybe welded together via that piece so they can be mounted to the shell as one, and the weld is ground down smooth? Just spitballing.

I purchased two different LED bulbs on amazon:
LUMENEX X0029816F5, 912 921 T15 W16W white, 12V, https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VMDFN6M
BOAOSI 912 921 LED, 12V-24V https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08R8FC6JM

This particular LUMENEX had a polished metal and curved-in-at-end lens holder that also had a slightly larger lens.
The BOAOSA looked like most of what were available in a quick search. More of a brushed metal finish and a squared off lens holder.

Are there any end-on images of the tip to see which of these is more accurate?

I ended up buying the the BOAOSI 912 921 LED last week. I think they are are the correct bulbs. I'm still trying to figure out the best clear heat shrink tubing for it. The stuff I bought was a little thick and I'd really have to force the bulb into the clear tube if I ended up using that heat shrink. I am curious to see what other's use.
