There's been renewed interest in Egon's Glasses on the RPF, so I thought I'd post here as well to see if it'd be worth doing a run of these:


Price would be around $75-$80 and they would come with clear demo lenses, a hard leatherette carrying case and microfiber cleaning cloth. The lenses could be swapped out with your prescription by any optometrist.

If I had the budget for them I'd be interested. Were the ones in the flim part of the costume or Harold's personal glasses? The glasses you see him wearing in photos over the years were very similar to this style.

I think both. Much like Indiana Jones' boots, these were probably his personal pair, and then production got extras since they have been shown on display with other props.
