Has anyone ever attempted to make an actual Booster Frame out of metal? Since the real-world use of it is possibly as a heat sink, why not make it out of the material heat sinks are made of? I understand the complexity of the piece, but could it be made by a CNC? I'm just throwing the idea out for brainstorming, I however have no way to construct it myself.

Interesting, I'll have to try and contact them. I wondered if you could use or convert a .stl file for use on a CNC? Then I could have the part milled at a metal shop in town.
