Perhaps best known for her starring role in the television series Designing Women, Annie Potts played the Ghostbusters’ receptionist Janine Melnitz. Potts was interested in acting from an early age and attended Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri. She had some early roles on television, but Ghostbusters was her first big-time role and was followed by her 7-year stint on Designing Women. Annie was also the voice of Bo Peep in the Toy Story movies.
